Andrew Douglas has a diverse work experience in the field of ESG, climate, and sustainable finance. Andrew has worked as an ESG, Climate, and Sustainable Finance Expert, focusing on integrating ESG factors into investment strategies and developing ESG/Sustainability/Impact products. Andrew has worked with various asset managers, owners, and financial services firms. Andrew has also served as the Climate and ESG Lead at Daiwa Capital Markets Europe and as an ESG and Sustainable Finance Advisor in an independent advisory role. Additionally, they have held positions such as Acting Head of Responsible Investment at BP Investment Management, ESG Integration Specialist at BlueBay Asset Management, and Senior ESG Analyst at Columbia Threadneedle Investments. Andrew's experience also includes roles as a Senior Responsible Investment Advisor at Sustainalytics and as a Programme Director at the UK Sustainable Investment and Finance Association. Andrew has also worked as a Senior Manager at Impact Investment Exchange Asia and as an independent consultant specializing in clean energy, ESG, sustainability strategy, and impact investing.

Andrew Douglas completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Environmental Economics, Change, Management, and International Environmental Law at the University of Oxford in the year 2005. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc Honors - magna cum laude) from Rutgers University in the years 1996 to 2000. At Rutgers, their double major was in Physics and Fine Arts, and they also completed double minors in Mathematics and Psychology.
