John Wainwright

John Wainwright is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Executive Director and Head of Central Regulatory Coordination at Daiwa Capital Markets Europe Ltd since November 2010. John has held various leadership roles within the company, including Executive Director of the Regulatory Department and Executive Director of Regulatory Policy and Advisory. Prior to joining Daiwa, John worked at KBC Financial Products as Exec. Director of Finance and held the position of Head of Regulatory Reporting at UFJ International. John's career began at Coopers & Lybrand Chartered Accountants, where John served as Assistant Manager. A qualified ACA (ICAEW) with first-time passes, John holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Natural Sciences (Biochem) from the University of Cambridge, where John studied from 1980 to 1983.
