Megan McDonald

Megan McDonald has over 20 years of work experience. Megan is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Daiwa Capital Markets Europe Ltd since January 2022. Previously, they held various roles at Standard Bank Group, including Head of Investment Banking (International), Global Head of Debt Capital Markets, Head of Structured Trade & Commodity Finance, Head of Debt Capital Markets (Southern and Central Africa), Head of Securitisation, and Senior Legal Specialist - Debt Capital Markets. Prior to that, they worked as an Attorney at Brink Cohen Le Roux Inc. Megan has extensive experience in the financial industry, specializing in debt capital markets and client coverage.

Megan McDonald earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 1992. Megan then pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law from the same university, completing it in 1994. After that, in 1996, they achieved a Master's in Law (Bachelor of Civil Law - BCL) from the University of Oxford.
