Charles Croney

Charles Croney, CFA, has extensive experience in the financial services industry, specializing in trading and sales. Currently serving as an International Sales Trader at Daiwa Securities Capital Markets since 2018, Charles has previously held senior trading roles at notable firms including Mizuho as Managing Director and Head of International Trading (2015-2017), Renaissance Capital as Managing Director and Head of US Equity Trading (2012-2013), and Nomura in various senior positions from 2008 to 2012. Earlier in their career, Charles worked as Head of Emerging Markets Trading at Lehman Brothers for a brief period in 2008, and at Merrill Lynch from 2002 to 2008 as Director of International Equity Trading. Charles began their career at Goldman Sachs as a Vice President in the Equity Division from 1994 to 2002. Charles holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics from Boston College.
