DaK Universal Architects, formerly known as Douglas and King Architects, is a dynamic and niche architectural practice based in Shoreditch, London. We are a small, highly skilled team that consistently punches above our weight by taking on large-scale, high-profile projects and successfully managing multidisciplinary teams. Our approach is defined by a deep commitment to innovative design, sustainability, and placemaking, which we apply across a variety of sectors, including Commercial Offices, Residential, Mixed-Use Developments, Urban Design, and Landscaping.

Located in Shoreditch, one of London’s most vibrant and creative districts, we draw inspiration from our surroundings and bring a unique, cutting-edge perspective to every project. We believe that great architecture is not just about buildings—it’s about creating environments that enrich communities, respond to their surroundings, and stand the test of time. Our methodology, honed over years of experience as Douglas and King Architects, ensures that we bring creativity, technical expertise, and practical solutions to every project, regardless of scale.

Under the leadership of Architect Martin King, we tackle complex challenges with a collaborative and agile approach, ensuring that each project is executed with precision and care. Whether working on a large commercial office development, an urban regeneration project, or an intricate landscape design, we have the capability to deliver outstanding results while maintaining close client relationships and a focus on quality.
