Timm Comer

Timm Comer has extensive work experience in the field of environmental management. Timm is currently working as the Environmental Director at Dakota Gold Corp. since May 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Environmental Manager at Sanford Underground Research Facility from March 2021 to May 2022. From August 2016 to March 2021, Timm worked as an Environmental Manager at Neiman. Timm also held the position of Manager, Environmental at Cloud Peak Energy from June 2015 to August 2016. Timm Comer's previous roles include Manager, Environmental Resources at AngloGold Ashanti from July 2009 to June 2015, Chief Environmental Coordinator from August 2003 to July 2009, Senior Environmental Coordinator from August 2001 to July 2003, and Environmental Coordinator A from July 2000 to July 2001. Timm began their career as an Environmental Coordinator at Meridian Gold Company from February 1996 to July 2000. Prior to that, they worked at Wharf Resources U.S.A. Inc. as an Environmental Coordinator from January 1995 to February 1996, Environmental Specialist from August 1990 to January 1995, and Environmental Technician from September 1988 to August 1990.

Timm Comer pursued their education beginning in 1986 at South Dakota Mines, where they studied Civil Engineering. Timm continued their studies at Black Hills State University from 1988 to 1994, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science & Technology. Timm'smajor was Mathematics, and they also pursued a minor in Athletic Coaching.
