Peter Tanis

Peter Tanis is currently the Chief Investment Officer at Dakota REIT since January 2024. Prior to their current role, Peter held the position of Senior Managing Director - Capital Markets at Newmark from November 2017 to December 2023. Before Newmark, Peter was the Senior Vice President at JLL from August 2015 to November 2017, where Peter specialized in Tenant Representation. With a background in Real Estate Development and a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Peter has extensive experience in procuring, managing, and negotiating real estate transactions for various clients throughout the Twin Cities Metro Area.
