Erik Bingen

Erik Bingen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the manufacturing and engineering sectors, currently serving as Plant Manager at Daktronics since January 2011. During tenure, Erik has also held positions as Manufacturing Engineering Manager and Mechanical Design Engineer, playing a pivotal role in cross-functional product development teams and implementing LEAN design principles through Agile and Scrum methodologies. Prior experience includes serving as a Mechanical Project Engineer, focusing on project requirements and process standardization, as well as a Mechanical Design Student at Prairie Lanes Bowling Alley, where responsibilities included customer service and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Additionally, Erik gained foundational skills as a Construction Laborer at Sioux Falls Construction Company. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from South Dakota State University, earned in 2012.
