Phil Rees

Phil Rees is an experienced GIS professional currently serving as an Associate GIS Specialist within the Geomatics team at Dalcour Maclaren since July 2017. In this role, Phil supports surveyors with data processing, map and plan production, and the maintenance of web maps, in addition to developing mobile applications. Prior to this, Phil worked at the Environment Agency, where responsibilities included producing flood risk products and managing extensive datasets from September 2016 to June 2017, progressing through various GIS specialist roles. Early experience includes a position as an Activity Leader at LEC in 2015, guiding French teenagers in language and cultural activities. Phil holds an MSc in Geographical Information Science and a B.Sc. in Geography, both from the University of Leicester, as well as A Levels in Geography, ICT, and English Language from New College, Swindon.
