Jennifer Cook has a diverse work experience spanning from 2001 to 2013. Jennifer started their career as an Administrative Assistant at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance in 2001, where they worked until 2003. From there, they moved on to Texas Children's Hospital as an Administrative Assistant and Event Coordinator from 2003 to 2006. In 2008, they joined Berkeley Carroll School as an Administrative Assistant and Teacher and stayed until 2010. Jennifer then worked at Advance Electronic Systems as an Executive Assistant from 2009 to 2012. In 2012, they had a brief role as an Administrator at Smith Roberts Land Services, Inc. and then moved on to Express Employment Professionals as a Project Analyst from 2012 to 2013. Jennifer concluded their work experience at Dale Rogers Training Center as a Project Analyst, starting in 2013.

Jennifer Cook completed their undergraduate education from 2007 to 2011 at Brooklyn College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cross Cultural & International Relations. In 2008, they also participated in the International Scholar Laureate Program, focusing on Diplomacy & International Relations.
