Dominic Ford is an accomplished compliance professional with extensive experience in the insurance sector. Currently serving as the Head of Compliance at Dale Underwriting Partners since January 2022, Dominic is responsible for establishing a compliance function to aid the company's application for a Lloyd's managing agency. Prior to this role, Dominic was the Compliance Director at Hamilton Insurance Group from 2015 to January 2022, where responsibilities included redesigning compliance frameworks and overseeing a compliance team. Dominic's earlier career includes serving as the Director of Compliance & Risk Management at Sportscover from 2006 to 2015, leading regulatory compliance and risk management initiatives. Additional experience encompasses roles at ACE Group, IC Frith & Associates, Lloyd's of London, and the Association of British Insurers, contributing to regulatory compliance, governance, and statistical analysis throughout a diverse career.

In 2024, we expect to write Gross Written Premium of £540m of income across our two distribution platforms: Syndicate 1729 with GWP of £390m; and Our joint venture established in 2021, Dale Dual MGU Limited with GWP of £150m.
