Dan Kelly

Project Manager at Dali Wireless

Dan Kelly has worked in a variety of roles in the telecommunications industry since 1991. Dan began their career as a Network Engineer at Rogers Cable in 1991. In 1996, they moved to Bell Mobility - International Consulting as an RF Engineer, providing optimization services for new wireless operator Americel and overseeing in-building design of large in-building projects in Brazil. In 1998, they joined Powerwave Technologies as a Team Leader, where they designed large in-building wireless systems and trained new account managers and system integrators on Powerwave DAS design and technology. In 2007, they became the Manager of Applications Engineering at Fiber-Span, responsible for managing the Sales Engineering Support and Technical Services departments to meet company business goals. From 2011 to 2016, they were a Sr. Wireless In-Building Engineer at Rogers Communications, designing wireless in-building DAS systems for UMTS and LTE networks, modifying the RF design of existing in-building systems to accommodate capacity growth, and creating action plans for field technicians to optimize/troubleshoot in-building systems (GSM, UMTS, LTE networks). Currently, they are a Project Manager at Avari Wireless.

Dan Kelly attended the University of Waterloo from 1986 to 1991, where they earned a BASc. in Electrical Engineering. Dan also completed a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Toronto.
