Laurel Asbridge

Laurel Asbridge has a diverse work experience, starting in 2006 as an Operations Clerk in the US Army, where they processed personnel records and implemented a more efficient filing system. From 2011 to 2012, at Angelo State University, they served as a Supplemental Instruction Leader, assisting students in understanding complex accounting subjects through study sessions and training. Laurel then worked at Oliver, Rainey & Wojtek, LLP from 2012 to 2015, initially as a Tax Intern, preparing income tax returns and assisting with accounting tasks. Later, they became a Staff Accountant responsible for financial statement preparation and tax returns for various entities. In 2016, they joined Venturity Financial Partners as an Assistant Controller, contributing to financial operations until 2017. Currently, they hold the role of Controller at the Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity.
