Ruben Salas

Ruben Salas is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in both the general industry and public sectors, currently serving as the Assistant to the Vice President of Bus Maintenance at DART since April 2024. Ruben previously held the position of Manager of Fleet Reliability at Trinity Metro from May 2017 to April 2024. Additional experience includes over 26 years at Fort Worth Transportation Authority in various roles, culminating as Property Manager where responsibilities included overseeing lease contracts and property inspections. Previous positions also encompass roles such as Custodian Supervisor and Maintenance Mechanic III. Beyond transportation, Ruben operated a successful small restaurant, Aledo Taqueria, from 2007 to 2012.
