Jennifer Perez is AT&T Performing Arts Center Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations. She originally hails from New York City where she spent over a decade using her marketing, development, operational, and interpersonal skills to bring large-scale nonprofits optimization of their performance. She and her family moved to the Dallas area in late 2018 and they have embraced Texas as their home through and through.
At the core of Jennifer’s work has been a desire to do good and see improvement in the world. During her time at organizations such as The American Red Cross, ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the American Heart Association and Mothers Against Drunk Driving, she developed and executed strategic plans that had direct impact on the people these organizations served. Recently, Jennifer served the Dallas community directly, raising funds for Vogel Alcove to address the challenges young, homeless children face.
Jennifer has a distinct background in sharing her expertise and inspiring others and has served on panels to help influence and educate her peers. She’d been recognized for her dedication to youth service by the Girl Scouts of Greater New York with various volunteer awards. She continues her work inspiring young people with the Girl Scouts of NE Texas as a Troop Leader and supports her community as a PTA Executive Board Member in the Frisco ISD.
Most importantly, Jennifer brings with her a true commitment to multiculturalism – both personally and professionally – exemplified by her wide range of service within multicultural facets of each organization with which she worked. She was elected to participate in the National American Red Cross Office of Diversity and Inclusion Services Mentorship program and named co-chair of the American Red Cross National Latino Resource Group. While at ALSAC/St. Jude, she was tasked with developing a Hispanic market strategy for the New York City market. At Mothers Against Drunk Driving, her dedication to multiculturalism was evident in the hiring and elevation of leaders of color within the organization.
