Weston Keifer

Director, Production at AT&T Performing Arts Center

Weston Keifer is the Director of Production for the AT&T Performing Arts Center. Weston joined the Center in 2011. As Technical Director, he built up the production staff, operations, procedures, helped create the Center’s hands-on arts education program Backstage Spotlight, which teaches technical theatre skills to Dallas high school students. All this while overseeing the thousands of shows, events, and meetings that take place on campus.

Recently, Weston took a year-and-a-half break in his time at the Center to work with the Plano Independent School District, where he helped establish and ready the operations of the soon-to-open Robinson Fine Arts Center. Weston’s career has also taken him from Boston, Massachusetts to Las Vegas, Nevada and included positions from stage-hand to technical director and even educator.

His experience in the many fields of production operations and education have given him understanding of the many needs and challenges of live theatrical productions within the operations of a large performing arts centers. Weston enjoys sharing his passion for stagecraft with all that will listen.

Weston earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design and Construction from Emerson College in Boston.
