Jonathan Getting

Jonathan Getting currently serves as a High School Social Science Teacher at Dallas Center Grimes Schools, where instruction encompasses Economics, Sociology, Government, and US History for Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. In addition to teaching, Jonathan is a Certified Men's Basketball Official for the NCAA and officiates at multiple collegiate levels, as well as officiating High School Varsity Basketball Games for IAHSAA and IGHSAU. Previous experience includes a role as a Social Studies Teacher for grades 9-12 at Woodward Granger Community School District and officiating youth sports at i9 Sports. Jonathan completed a degree in Secondary Education at the University of Northern Iowa, following studies at Drake University and Waukee High School.
