Megan Bawcum

Megan Bawcum has a strong background in child advocacy and support services. Megan currently works as the Assistant Director of Support Services at the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center, where they provide supervision, professional development, and mentoring to a team of 8 staff members. Megan also manages after-hours work schedules and serves as an on-call supervisor. Prior to their current position, Megan worked at ChildSafe as the Multi-Disciplinary Team Coordinator and Partner Relations from January 2020 to September 2021, and as a Family Support Specialist from October 2018 to January 2020. Megan started their career as a Family Advocate at the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center from 2015 to 2018. Megan also gained experience at Child Protective Services as a Conservatorship Specialist I from December 2014 to September 2015.

Megan Bawcum earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies, General from Texas Tech University in 2013.
