Hannah van der Karr

Hannah Van Der Karr is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in program monitoring, communication strategies, and organizational development. Currently serving as a Program Monitor at Dallas County Health and Human Services since January 2024, Hannah evaluates public health programs and leverages data analysis for strategic planning. As a co-owner of VERS Studio, Hannah focuses on empowering minority business owners through innovative branding and web design. Previous roles include Communications and Development Manager at AIDS Services of Dallas, where Hannah led communication strategies and funding initiatives, and Assistant Development Director at Homeward Bound Inc., where fundraising events and narrative development were key responsibilities. Hannah’s early career also includes positions at Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin and the American Lung Association, complemented by an Honors Bachelor's of Arts from Marquette University in Communication Studies, Social Welfare and Justice, and Digital Media.
