Phillip Looney

Phillip Looney serves as the Minister of Music at Bethany Christian Church since April 2018, specializing in contemporary Christian music. In addition, Phillip has been a Poll Judge and Election Official for Dallas County since March 2016. As a producer, engineer, performer, and writer, notable accomplishments include producing the soundtrack for "The Big Shootout," which won the Best Sports Documentary award at the Hot Springs International Documentary Film Festival in October 2013. Previous experience includes a role as a junior software engineer at jcpenney, I.T. Manager at The Cultura Group, LLC, and analyst positions at Publicis Groupe and Siboney USA. Academic credentials include degrees in Communications from The University of Texas at Austin and a dual major in Business Administration and Management from Southern Methodist University, the University of North Texas, and the University of Houston.
