Timothy Hicks

Timothy Hicks is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in various senior financial roles. Currently serving as County Auditor (CFO) for Dallas County since May 2024, Timothy previously held significant positions at the Illinois Housing Development Authority as Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director of Accounting, and as Controller. Other notable roles include Comptroller for the Forest Preserve District of Cook County, Founder and CEO of Hicks Sports Management, and Assistant City Treasurer for the City of Chicago. Timothy's expertise spans financial planning, reporting, and audit processes, with a strong background in strategic consulting and education. Timothy holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Illinois Chicago and a BS in Accounting from Alabama State University.
