Anne Hanisch

Anne Hanisch has a diverse work experience in the museum and retail industries. Anne is currently working as a Project Cataloger at the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum, where they create and enhances records in PastPerfect, adds digital surrogates to records, and re-houses new acquisitions. Prior to this, Anne worked at The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, where they held various roles including Inventory Technician, Retail Coordinator, and Retail Associate. In these positions, they were responsible for creating and editing records, numbering and re-housing new acquisitions, and assisting in inventory management. Anne has also worked at the Heritage Farmstead Museum as a Collections Consultant, where they inventoried and completed condition reports for objects and created and edited collection records in PastPerfect. Additionally, they worked as a Curatorial Assistant at the same museum, co-designing and installing temporary exhibits and serving as an event coordinator. Before working in museums, Anne gained experience in customer service and marketing at Edible Arrangements, Portland Children's Museum, and Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation, where they trained and motivated employees, designed marketing campaigns, and performed research and digitization work.

Anne Hanisch attended Portland State University from 2005 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History.
