Daniel Sharp has a diverse work experience in the education field. Daniel started their career as a student teacher at Dallas Independent School District in 2012. Daniel then joined Pegasus Charter School as a Social Studies Teacher from February 2013 to May 2015. Daniel returned to Dallas Independent School District in 2015 and held various roles including High School Social Studies Teacher, Social Studies Lead Teacher, Instructional Lead Teacher, and most recently, they are currently serving as the Lead Teacher.
Daniel Sharp's education history begins in 2006, when they enrolled at the University of North Texas. Daniel pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and completed their studies in 2011. Following this, in 2011-2012, Daniel attended Southern Methodist University to obtain a post-baccalaureate degree in teacher certification.
Daniel took a break from formal education and acquired additional certifications during this time. In September 2020, Daniel obtained a certification as a Distinguished Teacher from the Texas Education Agency.
In 2021, Daniel resumed their education journey by enrolling in Gettysburg College. Daniel is currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree with a focus on History, and their expected graduation date is in 2023.
