Dylan Malamala

Dylan Malamala, MS.Ed, currently serves as the IB MYP Coordinator and an ELAR Demonstration Teacher within the Dallas Independent School District since June 2019, having previously taught 8th grade and 6th/7th grade ELAR. Notably, Dylan played a key role in redesigning the ELAR curriculum for over 350 students and contributed to achieving a high success rate in state assessments. Prior experience includes being a Corps Member with Teach For America and serving as a Peer Advisor at Mercer University, alongside various internships in social media marketing and event management at organizations such as American Writers & Artists Inc. and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Dylan holds a Master of Science in Educational Studies from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Mercer University.
