Emma Arett

Emma Arett is an experienced science educator currently serving as a Science Teacher at Dallas Independent School District since July 2019, primarily at Solar Preparatory School for Girls with a focus on 7th Science Honors and AVID elective. Previously, during the summer of 2021, Emma worked as an Instructional Coach at Breakthrough Fort Worth, guiding a team in curriculum development for 8th grade chemistry and 9th grade biology. Prior roles at Uplift Education included teaching eighth grade science and technology, along with responsibilities as a science fair coordinator and drama club sponsor. Emma holds a Graduate Certificate in Blended/Personalized Learning from Texas Tech University and a degree in Urban Studies with a concentration in Environmental Science from Barnard College.
