Irene Lyons

Irene Lyons has extensive experience in education within the Dallas Independent School District, currently serving as the Coordinator of Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment Design since December 2019. In this role, Irene focuses on ensuring alignment between curriculum and instructional practices with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards. From January 1993 to June 2017, Irene held the position of Instructional Specialist Advanced Academic Services and also served as an Advanced Placement History Teacher. Irene holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Government and Politics from Texas Woman's University.
