Irma Skaggs

Irma Skaggs is an experienced educator and academic professional with a diverse background in teaching, student engagement, and administration. Currently serving as an Elementary School Teacher at Dallas Independent School District since May 2022, Irma previously held various roles at Southern Methodist University, including Associate Director of Student Engagement & Academic Success, Enrollment Resources Specialist, and Coordinator of the Finance Office. Additionally, Irma's experience includes positions as a Career Service Advisor and Business Administration Instructor at ATI, as well as a Quality Assurance Specialist at MCI Corporation. Irma holds a Master of Education in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor and a Master of Education in Education from Southern Methodist University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of North Texas.
