Marsha Smith

Marsha Smith has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Reconnect Teacher at the Dallas Independent School District since August 1995, where responsibilities include facilitating at Reconnection Centers and collaborating with school counselors and administration. Prior experience includes teaching regular and Honors English at Robstown Independent School District from August 1985 to May 1995 and serving as a sponsor for the National Honor Society and Academic Decathlon. Earlier in their career, Marsha worked as an Executive Assistant at Lamar Savings from June 1982 to August 1988, providing administrative support to the Executive Vice President. Marsha Smith holds a B.S.Ed. in English Language Arts and Communications from The University of Texas at Austin, earned in 1978, and completed high school at Munich American High School in 1974.
