Michael Edwards

Michael Edwards is an experienced educator currently serving as a 12th Grade AVID Teacher, Creative Writing Instructor, and Senior Advisor at the Dallas Independent School District since July 2020. Previously, Michael held various roles, including Social Media Marketing Intern at The Creative Couch and Seasonal Nike Athlete at Nike, showcasing skills in marketing, customer service, and product knowledge. Michael gained additional experience through internships at UNT Dallas and Prairie View A&M University, focusing on marketing communications and project management. Michael earned a Master of Liberal Studies in Communication and Media/Technology Studies from Southern Methodist University and holds an Associate’s Degree from Cedar Valley College.
