Patrick Opoku

Patrick Opoku has over 25 years of experience in accounting, currently serving as the Accounting Manager for Capital Assets Management at the Dallas Independent School District since August 1998. In this role, Patrick Opoku has demonstrated a history of excellence by overseeing the monthly transactions of Capital Assets, generating journal entries, managing reconciliations, and supervising financial activities related to construction project capitalizations. Prior to this, Patrick Opoku worked as a Staff Accountant at EDS/Coopers and Lybrand Partnership Inc. from February 1993 to August 1998, where responsibilities included reviewing financial reports and making journal entries for insolvent banks and savings institutions. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Southwestern University, obtained between 1980 and 1983.
