Patty Kim

Patty Kim is an experienced educator currently serving as an Assistant Principal at the Dallas Independent School District since June 2014. Kim has played a pivotal role in establishing the SPG Fine Arts Program and successfully facilitating the acceptance of 12 students into Booker T. Additionally, Kim has contributed to the school's academic improvements by developing an asynchronous learning platform, targeting STAAR Math interventions for grades 3 to 5, and leading a cohort that significantly increased proficiency rates on standardized tests. Prior to the current role, Kim worked as a freelance set, prop, and fashion stylist, and held positions at Valentino and Louis Vuitton, where exceptional client relations and sales growth were achieved. Kim holds multiple degrees, including a Bachelor’s in Art History and a Bachelor’s in Sociology, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Urban Educational Leadership at Southern Methodist University.
