Robert Rubel

Robert Rubel is an experienced audit professional currently serving as the Chief Internal Audit Officer for the Dallas Independent School District since December 2018. Prior roles include Deputy Chief Internal Audit and Manager within the same organization. Prior to this, Robert worked as Assistant City Auditor for the City of Dallas from February 2013 to December 2018. Additional experience includes a long tenure at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where Robert held positions as Director of Internal Audit and Associate Director of Internal Audit from 1992 to 2013. Earlier career highlights feature a role as a Tennis Professional at Village Tennis Center from June 1992 to July 2017. Robert holds a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Administration from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington.
