Sandra Lauriat

Sandra Lauriat, MD, FACP, is a seasoned physician with extensive experience in nephrology, currently serving at Dallas Nephrology Associates since January 1998, where responsibilities include Physician and Director of CKD Education, as well as authoring CKD materials. In addition, Sandra has been the Medical Director at Fresenius Medical Care North America since January 1999 and previously founded and directed Raenali Publications from March 2017 to December 2020, which was later acquired by FMC. Early career roles include Medical Director at LifeCare Hospitals from July 2000 to 2010 and various positions at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, including Instructor and Fellow. Sandra Lauriat earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from UT Southwestern Medical Center from 1988 to 1992, a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Arlington from 1986 to 1988, and also attended Southern Methodist University from 1981 to 1984.
