Scott Walzel

Scott Walzel is currently a consultant for Orchestra Community Development & Outreach at the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. Prior to that, they were with the San Antonio Symphony from September 1988 to June 1992 where they held the position of Assistant Principal and 2nd Bassoon.

Scott Walzel's educational career began at Brazoswood High School. Scott then went on to study music performance and music education at the University of Houston. After completing their undergraduate studies, they attended the University of Southern California, where they earned a Master of Music in music performance.

Some of their coworkers include Jennifer Guzman - Thomas & Roberta Corbett Director of Education, Micah Ringham - Dallas Symphony Children’s Chorus Operations Manager, and Ben Spagnuolo - Artistic Operations Coordinator.
