Kiran Kalluri

Kiran Kalluri is a Fund Partner at Dallas Venture Capital, where he is involved with all aspects of the India Fund. Kiran works closely with the Advantage Growth and the Operations Teams. Kiran has more than two decades of professional experience across diverse functions with global organisations which defined the spaces they operate in including Google, Dell, The Economic Times, and Onida. A continuous learner, he has handled complex processes and led large global teams acquiring expertise through hands-on experience across functional domains including outsourced & offshored BPM Operations, Global Field operations, HR, Finance, Industry Research, Sales & Marketing. His experience spans across Geo Spatial, digital marketing, technical support, media, and consumer durables sectors. A quintessential problem solver, he successfully executed enterprise level strategic projects which involved challenging tax, legal and public policy related issues and has delivered transformational outcomes. Well-travelled globally, his primary expertise lies in leading scaled operations where he has led large scale multi-site operations apart from field operations in 25 countries spread across 6 continents. He has achieved all this while building and nurturing culturally diverse and talented teams spread across the world which thrived on execution. He also championed global diversity initiatives for his teams.

A people’s person and a consummate relationship builder, Kiran’s wide network with industry leaders, policy makers, investors and academia equips him with unique perspectives and access to resources which he leverages to enable technology startups scale and succeed. He is a member of many angel networks and a charter member of TiE Hyderabad through which he supports, mentors, and engages with the startup community. Actively involved with many social and policy advocacy forums, he is a well-respected community leader having addressed many challenging issues leveraging his leadership skills.

Kiran completed his MBA from one of India’s top business schools, IIM Calcutta, and has an undergraduate degree in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from Osmania University College of Engineering. He has also completed his Level 1 CFA.

Kiran is based out of Hyderabad, India where lives with his parents, wife and two teenage sons. Beyond his engagement with DVC, whenever possible, he travels across the country for archery tournaments along with his sons who are both budding archers competing at the National level.
