Shannon Kelly

Shannon Kelly, LVT, serves as Hospital Manager and Education Coordinator at Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center since June 2020, where also functions as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in Surgery. Previous experience includes a role as Veterinary Technician at Summerfields Animal Hospital from June 2016 to January 2020, and as a Carnivore and Hoofstock Keeper at Fort Worth Zoo from September 2014 to April 2018, focusing on animal care. Shannon began as an Education and Zookeeping Intern at North Georgia Zoo in early 2014, overseeing the care and feeding of diverse animal collections and addressing health concerns. Shannon's early experience includes managing interns and animal care at KDH Whitetail Nursery in 2013. Educational qualifications include a degree in Veterinary Technology from St. Petersburg College and a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences with a focus on Wildlife Conservation and Ecology from Texas A&M University, complemented by an Associate of Science in Veterinary/Animal Health Technology from St. Petersburg College.
