Leon Cooijmans

Leon Cooijmans is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in financial management and process improvement. Currently serving as a Controller at Damen Shipyards Group since August 2014, Leon specializes in finance and control process enhancements, project management for web application implementations, and participation in SAP S/4 Hana projects. Prior to this, Leon held various senior roles at D.E Master Blenders 1753, including Senior Controller Finance and Senior Project & Contract Manager, where significant achievements included improving working capital and reducing procurement costs. Leon's early career includes roles at Deloitte Nederland as an Audit Manager and ABN AMRO Bank N.V. as a System Auditor. Leon holds a Drs R.A. degree in Business Economics and Accountancy from Tilburg University.
