Mehmet Akyol

Mehmet AKYOL is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Assistant Project Manager Engineering and Lead Electrical Engineer at Damen since May 2023. Prior to this role, Mehmet held various positions at BMA Technology from April 2019 to June 2023, including Supervisory Site Engineer and Site Engineer. Previous experiences also include a Project Development Engineer role at ABEI ENERGY, an MV & HV Design Project Engineer at Akdeniz Elektrik Dağıtım A.Ş., and an Electrical Site Engineer at Elko Makine Elektrik Pano İmalat Sanayi A.Ş. Mehmet's early career featured a Team Commander position in the Turkish Armed Forces, as well as internships and field engineering roles in various companies. Mehmet holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bahcesehir University and has also studied at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Oxford Brookes University.
