René Sens

René Sens is currently the Manager of Design & Proposal at Damen Shipyards Group, a position held since July 2012, overseeing a team of five engineers focused on stationary dredge equipment. Prior to this role, René served as a Coordinator for Dredging Services at Boskalis from 2007 to August 2012, where responsibilities included driving technical innovations through various R&D projects. René holds a Master of Science in Physics from Utrecht University, earned between 1997 and 2007, and has completed several leadership and project management courses, including Damen Leadership Development (DLD Next) in early 2023 and Damen Management Development in 2016.
