Roland Briene

Roland Briene is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the maritime industry. Since May 2007, Roland has held various leadership roles at Damen, currently serving as the Managing Director of Damen Naval. Prior positions include Commercial Director, Area Director for Asia Pacific, and Sales Manager for the same region. Roland is also a member of the Supervisory Board at MARIN and has been a board member for Damen Trading Suzhou and Damen Shipyards Changde. Additionally, Roland contributed to the International Business Research Groningen as a member of the advisory board for IBR Indonesia, providing insights for market research aimed at Dutch companies. Prior to joining Damen, Roland worked as a Sales Manager at Transmark Nederland and began a career as a Sales Engineer and Account Manager. Roland completed education at cals college from 1981 to 1987, earning a havo degree.
