Wester Beune

Wester Beune is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in finance and risk management. Currently serving as an Account Manager and Customer Finance Manager at Damen since September 2022, Wester specializes in global financial sales, focusing on export and project finance for Damen vessels while significantly expanding a client portfolio across Europe, the UK, and South America. Prior roles include Risk Manager at flatexDEGIRO AG, where Wester was involved in daily risk management for a leading online retail broker, and Consultant in IT Advisory at KPMG Netherlands, working on governance, risk, and compliance projects. Additionally, Wester has a background in charity leadership and finance management within student organizations.
