Wayne Smith CA(SA) is an experienced professional with extensive expertise in financial management and process improvement. Currently serving as the Head of Enterprise and Process Improvement at Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) since June 2018, Wayne leads the EPMO function and oversees process harmonization across the group's companies. Previously, Wayne held the position of Group Financial Controller at AGIG, where responsibilities included leading a Greenfields SAP implementation. Prior to joining AGIG, Wayne worked at PwC from January 2004 to May 2018, initially as Director in the CFO advisory practice, focusing on process improvement in finance, IT, and procurement, and earlier as Associate Director, leading audit and advisory engagements across Africa and Europe. Wayne holds a Bachelor of Accounting degree from Rhodes University and completed secondary education at Norkem Park High School.
