Travis McCormick has extensive work experience in the Boy Scouts of America. Travis started their career as a District Executive at the Central Minnesota Council in 2006. Travis then worked as an OA Wilderness Voyage Staff at the Northern Tier National High Adventure Base from 2004 to 2008. Travis subsequently joined the Old Colony Council as a District Executive from 2008 to 2010. Travis then moved to the Del-Mar-Va Council and served as a Program Director from 2010 to 2014. Travis later joined the Dan Beard Council as a District Director from 2014 to 2016, and then as a Team Lead from 2016 to 2020. Currently, they hold the role of Director of Program at the Dan Beard Council, where they are responsible for developing and implementing program and property business strategies.
Travis McCormick obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a focus on Integrated Social Studies Education from Miami University. Travis attended Miami University from 2001 to 2006.

Dan Beard Council, BSA
The mission of the Dan Beard Council is to prepare the over 30,000 young people in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. The Dan Beard Council is the administrative body of the the Boy Scouts of America in the Greater Cincinnati area. A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the council operations are completed funded by the Friends of Scouting annual giving campaign, corporate sponsorships, the popcorn sale, activity revenue, and the United Way. Funding is used for program delivery in the form of camp operations, the Scout Achievement Center, professional and support staff, and the many Scouting events held throughout the council each year.
