Pascal van Erp is the Deputy Director of Healthy Seas, where the mission is to remove waste from the seas, particularly fishing nets, to create healthier seas and recycle marine litter into textile products. Pascal also founded SKARV, working with drone recon & detection for marine-related issues, and serves as a Brand Ambassador for DAN Europe. Additionally, Pascal is the founder and chairman of Ghost Diving, as well as a member of the Global Ghost Gear Initiative, working towards protecting marine ecosystems. Pascal also runs their own diving consultancy business, SUBERP, and has worked on marine conservation projects with Coastal & Marine Union-EUCC. With a background in military training and education in informatics, Pascal is dedicated to ocean conservation and diving safety.

DAN Europe (Divers Alert Network Europe) is an international non-profit medical and research organisation founded in 1983, dedicated to the health and safety of the global dive community. DAN helps divers and their families by providing emergency medical assistance, promoting dive safety and conducting vital research.
