Behnam Hosseini

Behnam Hosseini has extensive work experience in the field of geophysics. Behnam started their career as a Geophysicist at Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic in 2010, where they also served as a University Lecturer. Behnam then joined the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI) as a Research Geophysicist in 2011. In 2013, they joined Dana Energy as an Exploration Geophysicist. In 2014, they worked as a University Lecturer at Kharazmi University. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Well Services of Iran (Schlumberger Methods) "WSI" as a Geophysicist and G&G team leader. Currently, Behnam Hosseini is working at Dana Energy as the Technical Director of Geophysical Services, a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Team Leader of Seismic Special Studies at Dana Energy from 2018 to 2021.

Behnam Hosseini completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Petroleum Engineering-Exploration from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic, from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Science (MSc) in Petroleum Exploration from the same university, from 2006 to 2008. Behnam completed their Bachelor's degree in Petroleum exploration from Petroleum University of Technology, from 2002 to 2006.

In addition to their formal education, Behnam Hosseini has also obtained several certifications. Behnam completed OpendTect training and Seismic Facies modeling by OpendTect in 2014, from dGB Earth Sciences. Behnam also obtained certifications in Seismic Facies modeling by Stratimagic in 2014, from the Research Institude of Petroleum Industry (RIPI). In 2012, they obtained a certification in Advanced AVO analysis and processing, and in 2011, they obtained a certification in Advanced Seismic Processing and Imaging, both from the Research Institude of Petroleum Industry (RIPI). Behnam also obtained a certification in Marine Geophysics in 2011, from the Institute of Earth Sciences and National Seismic Monitoring Centre. In 2007, they obtained certifications in 3D Seismic Management and Exploration Petroleum Systems from Total. Behnam has also obtained a certification in Geophysical Exploration from the National Iranian Oil Company.
