Reza Hashemi

Reza Hashemi has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Reza has worked in various roles and positions, showcasing their expertise in the field.

Reza Hashemi started their career at Tehran Raymand Consulting Engineers in 2007, where they worked as a Piping Engineer. Reza provided services to the oil, gas, petrochemical, and industrial sectors.

In 2011, Reza joined IOEC (Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction) as a Senior Piping Engineer. Reza specialized in offshore EPCIC projects in the Persian Gulf, including surface platforms and subsea pipe-laying.

In 2017, Reza moved to OEID (Oil and Energy Industries Development Co.) and took on the role of Engineering Project Manager. As part of this role, they managed engineering projects and played a crucial role in the design and execution of processing units, flow lines, and storage facilities. Later, they became the Head of the Piping/Pipe Line & Stress Analysis Department, overseeing the implementation of Geophysical, Geological, and Petrophysical capabilities.

Most recently, Reza Hashemi joined Dana Energy as a Piping & Pipeline Lead Engineer in 2022. Reza'swork at Dana Energy focuses on utilizing geology, geophysics, geochemistry, petrophysics, and reservoir engineering to discover new hydrocarbon reservoirs and unlock the company's assets. Reza contributes to exploration and production activities, providing innovative integrated subsurface workflows.

Reza Hashemi obtained their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bu-Ali Sina University from 2001 to 2005. Reza then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at K. N. Toosi University of Technology from 2017 to 2019. In addition to their formal education, Reza has also obtained several certifications. Reza completed the "Project Management Fundamentals (PMBOK)" course at the Tehran Institute of Technology in April 2021. In May 2019, they completed the "Behavioral Competency Assessment Interview" course at MNSA Group (OEID in-house course). In 2018, they obtained the "PDMS Catalogue and Admin" certification from OEID (Oil and Energy Industries Development Co.). Reza also completed the "ABAQUS FEA for Finite Element Method (FEM)" course at K. N. Toosi University of Technology in 2017. Furthermore, they have obtained the "The Layout of Piping Systems & Process Equipment" certification from Haward Technology Middle East in June 2012. Lastly, Reza completed the "Basic and Advanced Courses in the field of Piping Plant Design, Piping Material, Stress Analysis, PDMS and CAESAR II (in-house course)" at Sazeh Consultants in 2007.
