Mike Cook

Mike Cook is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive and powertrain sectors. Currently serving as Manager of Advanced Powertrain Development at Dana Incorporated since September 2018, Mike leads a team focused on developing next-generation ePowertrains for modern commercial trucks. Previously, Mike held the position of Lead Advanced Engineer for Commercial Vehicles at Honda R&D from August 2008 to September 2018, where responsibilities included transmission design and simulation leadership. Early career experience includes a mechanical engineering co-op at Champion Spark Plugs, focusing on metallurgical lab work, product design, and failure analysis. Mike Cook holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Toledo.
