Vijay Kumar Malagi

Vijay Kumar Malagi is an experienced engineering professional with a solid background in validation and testing within the automotive industry. Currently serving as an HIL Systems Test/Validation Engineer at Dana Incorporated since February 2021, Vijay has previously held the position of Transmission Systems Validation Engineer at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles from May 2016 to February 2021. In this role, responsibilities included analyzing core component requirements for transmission programs and developing test scenarios on IBM’s Rational Quality Manager. Additionally, Vijay's internship experience as a Powertrain HIL Engineer involved preparing HIL for ECM software validation across FCA vehicles. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Automotive Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rajarajeswari College of Engineering.
