Xu Wang, Ph.D., is a seasoned materials engineer with extensive experience in research and development within the automotive industry. Currently serving as a Senior Research Engineer in Materials Engineering at Dana Incorporated since November 2022, Xu Wang focuses on developing environmentally friendly and cost-effective brazing and welding technologies. Previously, at Meridian Lightweight Technologies Inc. from November 2019 to November 2022, Xu Wang worked as a Staff R&D Engineer, where expertise was applied to the development of new light metals, particularly magnesium and aluminum, to enhance applications within the automotive sector. Academic experience includes roles as a Research Associate and Research Assistant at the University of Saskatchewan from September 2013 to March 2018, alongside an internship as a Metallurgical Engineer at Baosteel Group Co. from September 2010 to February 2013.
