Katily Ramirez

Katily Ramirez, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Development Scientist at Danaher Corporation since April 2022. Prior to this role, Katily worked as a Scientist at Alcon, where contributions included co-inventing three international patents and enhancing the R&D program through formulation, product development, and manufacturing efforts. Katily's academic background includes a PhD and Master's Degree in Chemistry from Georgia Institute of Technology, where research focused on single-cell sensors and involved collaboration with clinicians on HIV-specific plasma cells. Additional experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Universidad de Los Andes and an Engineering Intern Lab-tech at WOK, with work on optimizing biodiesel production. Katily also holds certifications in Computer Science and Water Management from Stanford University, along with a Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
